We Are the FuryThis is just another prime example of a band trying to break it big time with the new wave part 2 sound implemented so well by bands like The Killers, The Bravery, Hot Hot Heat, etc. I personally can’t stand any of the aforementioned bands, and I’m not too big on these guys either. When I listen to a record like this, I get an image of a 17-24 year old girl inside my head, dancing around at the bar, on the bar, etc., and I get this girl home and she takes a sip of her cosmo and washes it down with some miller lite and looks at me with glassy distant eyes and suddenly panic explodes up her throat and all over my stereo. This is like a 5 song soundtrack to a night filled with regret and lots of beer google vision going on. If you’re a trendy bitch who loves to shake her money maker while drinking jolly rancher shots and whatever sugar filled alcohol beverages the girls love, this will be right up your skirt.
