SubsistanceThis is a great hardcore punk demo from Quebec’s Subsistance. The rhythm section really stands out on this CD with an aggressive yet punk-laden roll to it. The guitar-work is a typical hardcore attack with odes to early/mid nineties Southern California hardcore bands. The vocal work is nothing spectacular yet it is nearly flawless throughout the 3 tracks on this demo. Overall each song varies decently from one another, which is rare on hardcore releases. I highly recommend any fans of punk music to check these Canadians out.
