These guys and gal hail from the Philly/South Jersey area and play short, fast positive hardcore. I'm guessing they have been together since 2003-04, and have put out 2 successful demos. The band has endured some lineup changes over the last year, they added Nick and Bill in August only to part ways with both in February, so the band added a new bass player and guitarist.

There are 7 songs of succinct, straight to the point hardcore that stick the minute and half mark. Most of the time the band keeps the tempo driving only every now and then do they slow it up just a bit.

I don't get what the title "Best Goalie Ever" has to do with the song theme but I hope because of their location it's either about Bernie "only the Lord saves more" Parent or Martin Broduer although Patrick Roy has them all beat. Anyway, the song has to do with the hardcore scene being their home. Another song with a hockey related theme, "2 Man Advantage" which is about sticking by your friend through the hard times. The song "Far Out" is about getting a person that is hindering you out of your life. "Deadweight" is about dropping out of hardcore. "Conflict" is about trying to settle a problem. "Inside Is What Counts" is self explanatory.

This was recorded at the infamous Big Blue Meenie studio. Shit sounds good. I like the guitar tone, its got plenty of crunch and mid levels. The bass tone sounds awesome, good presence and good treble tone. The drums sound dense, good tone on the snare. Like the placement of the vocals.

A nice simple layout that foreshadows the band's sound. The front cover is red with a group of hands reaching up to take the mic, with the cord wrapped around their hands. It was a nice touch to have a orange'ish mic grill centered in the middle of the cover, which also reappears in the tray art. On the back of the booklet and tray is a live picture silhouetted in red. The booklet is two pages with the lyrics displayed vertically in black over a yellow background.
