Well, I have very little background info on these guys except that they feature founding members of My Hotel Year (Doghouse Records) and Believe in Toledo and have released a full length prior to this titled "Chaos Reveals Rhyme."

Okay, so this album contains 12 tracks of pop rock that will probably have all the young girls throwing their training bras on stage (mmm nothing like tiny tittie residue right fellas?) This pretty much sounds like every other band trying to get airplay on MTV's hot eight or whatever the hell that shit is. The only thing that slightly separates them the legions of countless other bands doing this is that they rely heavily on studio trickery. There is a lot of looping and samples that are used throughout the album, although the tracks aren't that great to begin with they do add a little extra something to an otherwise forgettable album.

Lyrically, it's just pretty much what you would expect from the genre, nothing new, or groundbreaking. I'm sure because there are some abstract shit here and there, some people (I mean young girls who don't know any better) will say the lyrics paints a beautiful picture, blah blah. Nope.

Even though I hate everything about this album, you can't knock the production. This thing sounds huge. All of the instruments sound crystal clear, and as I mentioned earlier, there is plenty of studio embellishments that add some needed character to an otherwise faceless band.

The layout looks fucking stupid, and only reaffirms my dark thoughts that these guys are really gunning for the young ladies. Sure, every one of those 64 Crayola Crayons got used in this layout, and usually the more colors the better, right? Wrong. It looks like a fucking kid scirbbled all over the place, and what is up the all of the big O's everywhere. Ugly.

Rating: 0.1/5

Songs worthy of replay: Why bother?

Thesis: I'm sure you're wondering, "Damn Jeff, why even put that 0.1?" Got to show some love for the production, no matter how little it may be. If you like melodic shit, just stick to Saves The Day, The Starting Line, Thursday or something because this shit just isn't
