Drawing DeadIt's always nice and refreshing to come across bands such as this one, they keep DIY in spirit and do it for no other reason then for the love of the music. Drawing Dead is a four piece hardcore band that hails from the city of brotherly love, AKA Philadelphia. Lately it seems like all there is out there is a lot of regurgitated hardcore bands that have no originality, and that makes me sad. Listening to this demo makes me realize why I love this music so much.
This is a five track demo which kicks off with a 2:23 instrumental that is the longest on the CD. Every song on here is a good one, nothing that will let you down. Everything from the music, to the lyrics, to the recording quality is beautiful… even the packaging of the demo is nice, especially for a self-released one. If you're a fan of Black Flag or Minor Threat, you're a fan of Drawing Dead, you just don't know it yet, so check 'em out.
