Crashing DownThis is a 5-song demo from Brick, NJ's Crashing Down that clocks in at just under 11 minutes. Though the production quality is very muddled, keep in mind; this is only a CD-R demo. Their style fits the classic old-school mold. The guitars drive these songs along, never trying to be too technical, yet very competent and fitting for this band. The bassist holds up his end of the rhythm section but the drumming needs some improvement. The lackluster drums sometimes hold back the flow of certain tracks like, ‘…With It All'. The singer suits the group well, with a prototypical old-school voice. He lulls at times but I'm sure he'll gain more confidence in his vocals in a short period of time. If you're into gang vocals, finger pointing and pile-ons…you'll love this band!
