The best hardcore video magazine going right now is back again with mother fucking Volume 3 and features some of the best up and coming hardcore bands as well as some of the more established scene veterans to make for a great combination.

XDeath StarX-I think these guys are the first band I've ever seen with four vocalists. It's a little over the top but it's like a set of gang vocals. These guys brought the heavy and the four vocalists definitely went off.

Death Threat-Does anything really need to be said. One of the best bands the hardcore scene has ever seen in my opinion.

No Turning Back-Though I never got huge into these guys, they had one of the tightest sounding sets of the bands featured on this DVD. Good stage presence.

In Due Time-Man, these guys are fucking heavy as shit. The breakdowns can get a bit repetitive but damn I can definitely get down with these cats.

100 Demons-Their set sounded tight, the guys were going off it's just a shame the venue was a tad dark so you couldn't see much except for the band. Didn't help that the camera was a bit far away either.

Sudden Death-Not bad, I liked how their cameraman moved around a bit to get some different angles and shit. Their set was tight for the most part with some minor fuck ups but they put it down.

Since The Flood-Love em or hate em these guys know how to put on a good show. Really tight set, lots of energy.

Knock Em Dead-When I saw the lineup for this DVD I was eager to see the set these guys would throw down. At first I was a bit disappointed. They recorded their set in some parking lot or field or some shit with a bunch of cars parked around but then I heard the sound quality and was shocked how good the shit sounded.

Pound For Pound-These guys put on a good set. The songs sounded tight and they moved around a lot. The dudes in the crowd were definitely feeling and were going off accordingly.

DTD-If it wasn't for Pride Kills fucking shit up so nicely these guys would've had the best set. I swear it seemed like they had 25 of their boys do choreographed dance moves. Everyone was so in unison, it was like they all knew exactly when to circle pit and shit. Plus everyone in the mother fucker had a DTD shirt on.

Strength For A Reason-Definitely one of the best sets on here. Well I guess two because they comprised two different sets for their slot. These dudes always go balls to the wall and on top of that they had really good sound quality. Especially their set at the Backstage in Kingston, PA.

Barricade-When I first heard their CD, I wasn't too impressed but it grew on me and these guys are definitely meant for the live setting. The band sounded good and the kids were going off.

Pride Kills-Hands down the best set of the DVD, fucking got Gabe wearing a jock strap going off as the GAMC crew is setting off fireworks Bad Luck 13 style. This is why these dudes fucking rule shit.

Flawless Victory- These guys did a split with Knock Em Dead and Hard Luck and fucking killed it. Really dig these mother fuckers and their set only affirmed my love for these dudes.

CDC-I love the heavy ass metallic brand of hardcore with plenty of breakdowns yet for whatever reason I could never get into these guys. Their set didn't away me any either.

Killing Kings-Fuck was I hyped to see these guys on this DVD. One of the most underrated bands in hardcore without a doubt. And far and away they had the best sound/camera quality. First off the sound was immaculate and the camera work/effects were quality, shifting from color to black and white, different angles, etc. Their set was tight as fuck and the crowd was going off.

I loved the hockey layout of Volume. 2 and I'm really liking this Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas theme. They used a thugged out screenshoot of CJ and boys and used the appropriate fonts to display the titles, etc. Because you may look at the picture used for this review and think it is a DVD in a CD case it isn't.

Rating: 5/5
