Various ArtistsANTiSeen has been around for nearly 25 years and have put out many highly acclaimed albums and reviled for their live show and have influenced more bands than you could imagine. So it's only fitting that they are honored with one of the largest compilations that I have ever seen/heard.
There's a ton of bands on here from bands and artists that span the punk/hardcore spectrum as well as the folk genre. Man, there's even the band that Badluck 13 did a split with awhile back, Blowfly who were the X-rated Funk legends. Some other notable artists: The Boils, Thee Cosmic Commander Of Wrestling, Jeff Dahl, Simon Stokes, Hank III, Genocide Super Stars, The Bad Vibes, The Thrill Killers, Rawhead, The Faggot Kings, Before I Hang, The Nerds, Chaos UK, The Hookers, XXX Smut, Clamp, The Bulemics, Nothing But Puke, and a shitload of others.
With compilations it's always very hit or miss with the production because you have over 50 bands recording at various studios across the country. But I will say this, they aren't any glaring fuck ups. For the most part all of the songs sound tight production wise.
Very cool carton cover featuring some of the guys from Antiseen drinking some booze and chilling with some tripped out black strippers, equipped with colorful flamboyant hair. When you first open the booklet you're greeted with an image of Clayton tattooed on some guys back with the confederate flag serving as a backdrop. There's two nice little blurbs from Merle and Clayton about the bands history and the compilation. Another fold of the book reveals a nice little four page poster with a busty girl getting her tits felt up right in the middle of various Antiseen oddities and images.

Songs Worthy of Replay: The Boils-Scapegoat/The Bad Vibes-Spare Change
Thesis: If you like AntiSeen, there is no reason you shouldn't pick this one up, I mean there's fucking 57 songs on two CD's. On top of that there's a shitload of bands you can check out and get a good idea of what they sound like.
