I'm always a sucker for this kind of street punk. It never fails. Angel City Outcasts play street punk akin to The Dropkick Murphy's (One of the greatest bands to grace this planet might I add) and Social Distortion, playing street punk with some flavor. Angel City Outcasts brings a wide range of musical influences to their sound and it all shines through without sounding all over the place. They maintain their sound while having blue grass type riffs, straight rock n' roll, country, punk, oi, and hardcore. You can tell these guys like their Johnny Cash. From the moment I'm and Angel City Outcasts came on this disc got me hooked. This song is the introduction to all that is A.C.O showcasing what's to come. And then the second track kicks in (Youth Rebellion revisited) and it's just a straight up street punk song. And THEN following that is my favorite track on the album, "The Chase," catchy as shit, great hooks, great sing along parts, and a great theme lyrically. And I'll just keep going down the list with Popeye in Afghanistan, which really reminded me of some good ole' Dropkick Murphy's. A rare positive twist on the middle east crisis facing our country. Oh yeah and there's a mother fucking Kiss cover on here, LA Rock City (Detroit Rock City) They make it their own, lyrically and musically and rather than taking up space it only added to the album. Bottom line is, if you want a cd to put on to drink and play cards to this is out. Nothing but good times all around music.

Rating- 3.5/5

Tracks worthy of replay-The Chase, I'm an A.C.O.
