What is Killing Kings about?

Killing Kings in a nutshell is about THE WORLD!! Basically. Anything that plagues people and their basic rights as individuals is what we stand against. Crooked politicians, Rapists, Racism, Religious fanatics, etc.. Anything that infringes on our basic rights as people and occupants of this planet. We are all hard working guys and therefore we stand for working class ethics. And I could go on for a year about this but you get the point.. And if you don't... check out the lyrics.

Since we're nearing the end of 2007, how has the year treated you guys?

2007 was OUR YEAR! We hit both coasts. We played with one of our favorite bands. We all got to play in our hometowns. We turned some heads and opened some eyes. And for us. That's what it's all about.

I'm sure by now you have heard about that possible formation of the North American Union, which will bring together America, Canada, and Mexico under one banner and one currency, much like the EU. This has been talked about a lot over the last year by the bloggers but now even mainstream media outlets such as Lou Dobbs are talking about? What's your thoughts on the matter?

Well.. good question... here it goes. When anything like this happens it's usually based around money. If politicians and world leaders that are backed by private financial parties such as the Rockefellers etc.. and large companies than the common goal is likely NOT in the best interest of THE PEOPLE.. and that to us is the most important problem. If the ultimate goal is to just simply extend our borders thereby strengthening our POWER and influence on the world than it is ultimately a bad idea.. The idea of common currency is essentially probably a good idea. If they put companies and organizations such as GREENPEACE and other non profit organizations in the mix to get their influence and ideas then it becomes more about progression of humanity and less about corporate gains.

You guys are going to be featured on Born To Hate Volume 3. What can people expect from the third installment and when does it come out?

It is out in stores now. We have a cool spot on the video. There are lots of great bands that need to be heard in the hardcore scene. BTH video mag brings the raw side of hardcore shows. That what makes it real.

For the people out of Colorado and even out of the US, who are some bands from your neck of the woods that people should make a priority to check out?

- And many many more. That's what the internet SHOULD be used for.

I notice you guys have just signed with Awake/Strong Records, one of my favorite up and coming labels. How did you guys hook up with Michael?

Michael found us and he told us he has a small label and he likes the type of music that we play. We talked and have common interests and decided it would be a good idea.

(From Jay Vindictive) ‘How does it feel knowing that you guys will be playing with Sick of It All, a band that so heavily influenced you guys?

Playing with Sick Of It All was definitely a huge step for us and more so an accomplishment and a milestone. We have ALL looked up to that band and listened to them for a long long time and to play with them was thus far the highlight for us. Also that band is probably one of the best bands to look up to because they are the most humble real guys. It never went to their heads and they always always kept it real for what they wanted.

Unlike the majority of countries, America has no "national" language. Why do you think this is and do you take issue with that or is it a non issue to you?

This country is comprised of so many different cultures that it wouldn't make sense and in no way would everyone be pleased with a national language. However, for the sake of education and economy it might make things a bit easier. But let's say if English was the national language it should be MANDATORY for other languages to be taught and learned.

If America could have free higher education or free health insurance, which would you opt for?

Free health care we feel is absolutely a necessity. However we also feel that grades 1-12 should be completely refurbished and focused on more.. It seems like they push kids through school regardless of whether or not they have the required education. But if they want to pursue something further and more focused they have to pay a small fortune for it? Bullshit. Simply put.

In other words….. C. all of the above.

Who would you like to win the 08' Presidential election and who do you think will ultimately end up winning?

Each of us has different opinions..

- Nathan kinda likes Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, and thinks Guliani or Clinton will win
- James likes Barack Obama or John Edwards but thinks Guliani will win
- Timmy likes Clinton or Obama
- Mike would like Claire Huxtable to win cause she's fair and honest... on t.v. anyways.
- Steve is rooting for Obama or Kucinich..

In ending.. we all wish Al Gore would run…

You guys completely put together your full length, "Delusions of Grandeur", how long did it take from start to finish for you guys to get the final product in your hands?

Well since we started until we had the release date.. so roughly 2 years. We are so proud of the great feedback we have received.

Considering how you guys are a very political band, where do you guys get most of your news from?

NPR , Internet, CNN, Local News, South Park, etc.. anything but FOX news.. fuck them.

What are your opinions on websites like Infowars.org and Loose Change? We feel like anything that makes people think is good. Anything that questions or defies popular thinking is probably a good idea.. look into it. Figure out your own perspective.

What are your opinions on Michael Moore, have you seen "Sicko" yet, if so what are your thoughts?

Michael Moore is good at what he does but he tends to over do it. One thumb up.. One thumb down. The few of us that have seen Sicko and love it. It is a profound look and close look into the medical BUSINESS..
